Dina Meyer was born at Forest Hills Queens New York. Just before finishing her junior year, she relocated from Queens into Dix Hills Long Island. Dina Meyer is the younger sibling of Gregory and also has an older brother named Evan. At the age of 9 up to 16, she started being involved in the business of entertainment by modelling. She started her acting training with The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York and studied Sanford Meisner's acting techniques together with Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training and also Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are among the actors who have received the same type of instruction. After moving from Los Angeles, she got her first part in Beverly Hills,90210. Then, she got as the lead role in the movie Johnny Mnemonic, in which she did almost all of her own stunts, establishing herself as an athlete. Her talent agent was also representing Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent she was able get a regular role on Friends.
